Curriculum Guidelines

The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

We strictly follow the UK Department for Education's statutory framework for early development. Our practitioners observe and record every child's progress across the 7 key learning areas:

  • Communication and Language(nursery rhymes and stories)
  • Physical Development( fine and gross motor skills activities e.g mark-making and construction activities )
  • Personal, Social, and Emotional Development ( developing friendships, confidence and self-esteem)
  • Literacy (Phonics and reading)
  • Mathematics (Numbers, shapes, and patterns)
  • Understanding the World (Nature, science, and communities)
  • Expressive Arts and Design (Painting, drama, and crafts)

Parents receive weekly learning diary reports via our digital parent portal app, keeping you in touch with milestones.

PHONICS

Encouraging children to link sounds and letters and to begin to read and write.

SCIENCE CLUB

Practitioners scaffold children’s learning by encouraging them to experiment, observe changes, and reflect on what they expect to happen.

COOKING CLUB

Cooking activities help children develop confidence, language, physical skills, emotional wellbeing, teamwork, maths, science understanding, and cultural awareness.

Lending Library

A Lending Library in an EYFS setting is a dedicated approach to promoting a rich reading culture, ensuring children have daily access to high quality books, storytelling experiences, and language rich environments.

Dance and Movement
