About Discovery World

Our history, early-years learning ethos, and the wonderful team behind our Ofsted Outstanding standard.

Childhood Ethos

Reggio Amelia approach: Learning Through Discovery.

At our nursery, we reinforce the Reggio Emilia approach, a child-led philosophy that views children as capable, curious natural-born researchers. Instead of traditional top-down lessons, our learning is driven by your child's unique interests—whether that's exploring a bug in the garden or building a complex block tower. Supported by teachers who act as partners in discovery, children learn in bright, natural spaces designed to spark creativity. Here, your child is encouraged to express their thoughts through "a hundred languages"—including art, music, building, and play—turning everyday curiosity into a lifelong love for learning.
